oops. what can i say. last week minutes are so late that they will be combined with this week. LATER than late. a wise jon once told me (tonight) that “procrastination pays off immediately,” which i have always found to be true.
last week, (3-19-08) natasha sent some delicious cookies to the meeting, and trisha did not get one.
Ryan, Adam, Marina, Sophie and others? went to KY and climbed and had an awesome time, and took pictures. they wore t-shirts. because it was so warm.
next weekend (april 4-7), people are going to KY again. there are at least 10-12 people for sure going. if you want to go, please commit by this coming monday so we can plan transportation. ryan, jon, lori, jon, adam, brad, natasha, matt, marina, and others (ME!) are planning on going.
please let ryan know if you plan to go.
some (sad?) news, is that ryan will not be here next year, and so hopefully someone else who is as organized (and hippie-ish) as he is will take over as president. which shouldnt be too hard. i think adam won’t be here either. and i probably will not be here either. i shouldn’t be too hard to replace, but i must warn you - this secretarial job can be quite dangerous at times **see story below**. so start thinking about if you would like to take over one of these positions, and we will probably nominate people sometime in the next few weeks.

by the way, i am currently typing this up in the health professions building at 11:00 pm on thursday night. when i walked in the front door, two girls were yelling – at first i ignored them and kept walking because for some reason this didn’t seem like an unusual occurrence to me. anyways, i realized they were yelling at me because apparently there is some lunatic riding his bike around the health building (wearing a “black hoodie”), stalking young women. so anyways, the girls called the campus police (who can be quite intimidating), and had him escort them to their car. so i decided to come up here and type up the minutes anyway, just to show what a dedicated secretary i am – risking my life, and all. so hopefully i will make it out to my car when i leave… ahhh, never a dull moment in mt. pleasant.
which is also free (although some people.. honestly.. like matt christensen, should not be encouraged to talk even more than they ALREADY do). This event will be from 7-10 pm, and you will love it, so you better go. i am!
