ok so i just can’t stay away.  this is anjie. again.
 
so we are kinda thinking thursday night for on belay social.  it may be an impromptu/informal thing.  we can probably have it at dave’s house.  maybe 8 or 9ish? 
 
i suppose i will send another email or posting if we decide on this day/time for sure.

p.s. dave: we are coming over to your house. maybe - you’re not really invited though, so could you please not be there at that time? my house will probably be empty so you can stay there (i won’t be there, i will be at a social). 
 
p.s.s. jon crain, i don’t know why but it won’t let me post the minutes on the website.  i can log in but it won’t let me put them in the right spot.  i am technologically incompetent because i am amish, so could you please post the past couple emails on there?  thanks.

Meeting Minutes

so to prove how unreliable i really am, i have decided to send out minutes when i’m not even the secretary anymore (this is anjie, btw).
 
1) the climbing wall is open next tuesday from 2-10 pm.
2) we should have an end of the year on-belay social. ideas?  matt’s house again? or dave/elliot’s house? how about.. wednesday? 8:00? yay/nay? 
3) buildering season is upon us.  please builder safely, and make sure you do it in areas where you will not get caught.
3.5) sidenote - do not climb on the bovee center on the side that faces the library. 
4) matt christensen’s house is extremely hard to break into.
5) we have new officers:  bald gordo is president, matt christensen is VP, casey (girl) is secretary.  hmm, can’t remember the others - all i know is that will is no longer the culinary architect (he was impeached)
6) slacklining season is upon us.  please slack responsibly.
7) disk golf anyone? 989-916-5360
8) summer climbing trips?  we should go to grand ledge or perhaps KY/TN/WV/WI ? somewhere good - i’m up for it if anyone else is.  i will be around mt. pleasant at least until july.  
9) climbing wall is open in the summer 5-9 on wednesdays only (i believe). 
10) thanks for a great year of climbing everyone.  thanks for putting up with my incompetent secretarial skills.  i hope you get the meeting minutes on time next year.  if i end up somewhere really cool near some mountains when (if) i start working in a few months, you all have to come visit me.  so PLAN ON iT! 
goodbye/goodluck to everyone who is leaving this summer, and congrats to all of our fellow climbers who are graduating/going to cool places and leaving us.

meeting minutes for 4-2-08

ok everyone.  here are the details for the KY trip -
we are leaving TOMORROW.

the plan is to meet behind finch fieldhouse at 5:30 pm
tomorrow, and to be on the road by 6.  we are taking 3
vehicles and these are the drivers:  ryan, brad, and
nick.  in ryan’s car, he is taking adam dunn, neil,
marina.  brad is taking sophie, nicki, casey and matt
christensen.  nick is taking me, jon crain, jon and
lori, jeanne, and jeannie’s brother.  if you have
questions and need to call the driver, ryan’s number
is 231-357-0568.  brad’s # is 810-241-1193.  nick’s #
is 248-770-8589.  i am currently not giving out my
phone number, so i am sorry to all the single males
who have broken hearts over this.

we have made tent/sleeping arrangements, and so if you
have a tent, bring it.  if not, there are probably
spaces available.  call ryan if not sure.  

we plan to return sunday at 2:00 at the latest, to be
back at 10-11 pm.  make sure you bring some food for
lunches and we will probably be eating pizza for
dinner at miguel’s.  ( i think we are staying at
miguel’s).  Bring any climbing gear you will need, and
quickdraws or rope if you have them.

ALSO IMPORTANT!!  Bring CASH for gas money and food. 
(or checkbook).  we need to make sure everyone pays
during the trip so we don’t have to track people down
later.

any questions, call ryan.  otherwise, be ready to
leave tomorrow by 5:30!!! can’t wait!! :)
